Mantis: A Photo Essay.
Mantis Encounter and Much More! The aftermath of getting to see a Praying Mantis, 1 encounter: Countless Pictures. It was dark, when I saw something green colored moving outside the window, on the grill. As it was windy outside, I assumed it must be some piece of plastic which might have stuck there. I went close to observe it and what I found was this insanely beautiful Praying Mantis! An attempt to demonstrate the situation. They are pretty good posers! It was walking on the glass window, which gave me an opportunity to look at the underside of the Mantis more clearly. Just look at those patterns! So intricate! Mantises to me seem like this alienated kind of Insect which stumbled on the Earth, I mean look at those eyes! that head structure! Have you ever seen an insect like that! well Insects are the most diverse group of organisms inhabiting the Earth till date! Pretty cool creatures! Aren't they?
